Big moves at Entersekt!

Against the backdrop of a rapidly growing customer base, Entersekt has been expanding its presence globally over the past six months. As part of this expansion, our management team has also seen some exciting changes, which we’d like to share with you today.

Dewald Nolte (pictured above, left), an Entersekt co-founder, has taken on a broader role as Entersekt’s chief commercial officer. As CCO, he will remain responsible for our strategic partnerships and alliances, but he and his team will also take charge of:

  • Identifying and responding to new market opportunities
  • Liaising with our products teams to better meet emerging customer needs
  • Directing product marketing and positioning

Dewald is a keynote speaker at the Seamless Africa Conference in Cape Town’s International Convention Centre (CTICC). Catch his presentation on 6 March at 10:00 in the Main VIP Payments Room (Track 1).

Gerhard Oosthuizen (pictured above, right), previously our chief information officer, is now Entersekt’s chief technology officer, a position we kept vacant after Christiaan Brand joined Google. In this role, he will be responsible for:

  • Accelerating strategic initiatives
  • Driving innovation as well as research and development
  • Engaging with industry stakeholders and analysts
  • Evaluating technology partners

Gerhard will be hosting a round table at the Seamless Africa Conference in Cape Town’s International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 5 March. Join the session at 12:20 in the Main VIP Payments Room (Track 1).
